Delhi in touch with Colombo on Tamil issue, Manmohan, Sonia assure Karunanidhi
With Tamil Nadu expected to play a key role in government formation at the centre after the elections in May, the Congress is paying increasing attention to the concerns of its Dravidian ally, the DMK. In the span of a week, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Congress chief Sonia Gandhi have sent letters to chief minister Karunanidhi on SL Tamil issue. Message was identical: 'Don't worry. We are in touch with Colombo and Rajapaksa is committed to devolution'
